OPEN CALL

Marahuyo Art Projects invites artists to submit works for ABUBOT, a special exhibition under the second edition of the If Trees Could Talk International Art Biennale in 2026.

We are looking for artworks created from found objects—old phonebooks, the cage of an electric fan, CDs, coasters, dice, magnets, anything and everything at all—and artists who wish to breathe new life into materials that would’ve otherwise been discarded or forgotten.

Consistent with the spirit of If Trees Could Talk, the exhibition celebrates creativity, sustainability, and imagination. ABUBOT is both a call for less waste and an inquiry into our increasingly hyper-consumerist world. It is an invitation to reuse and revive what we already have—a reminder that art can come from just about anywhere.
