An afterword generally refers to a statement found at the end of a piece of literature. It helps provide context or background for the idea behind the work, and how such an idea was developed and grown.

In Marahuyo Art Projects' Afterword, four young artists seek to express their motivations and inspirations for moving forward, as well as the difficulties that challenge them, and how all these taken together coalesced to inform the ideas behind their works.

These four projects reflect personal sentiments, communicate continuing questions, and seek to define the respective structures that mark each artist's place in society. They are presented as explorations in form, practice and narratives.

Afterword features Renee Avila’s Disentangle, Joseph Ingking’s Fragments of Beginnings, Dennis Puzon’s Mga Salitang Iniwan sa Dahon, and Abril Valdemoro’s UTRO UTRO.
